One lesson I didn't learn until I bought my first and only new boat 17 years ago (which I still have). Warranty isn't all that great if the nearest dealership is 2+ hours away. I had to take the boat back in three or four times for little things, and it pretty much wiped out half the season.Buy something local. Scout dealership not too far from you, so keep that in mind.
