I slipped my small cruiser this summer at Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee River in Tennessee. I usually trailer the boat. I don't have the bottom painted nor do I want to this year. I was planning on hauling it out and power washing it once a month. I use the boat weekly so it will not sit in the slip for a long period of time. Is 1 month too long to leave it in the water or should I haul it out every couple of weeks? Should I tow the boat home monthly and let the hull dry out for a week to avoid blisters. This winter I will probably bottom paint the boat if I slip it next year. Am I safe or flirting with disaster?
