SO let me get this straight. The guy uses a Barge and Crane to haul and launch. The Boom part of the crane breaks while lifting a boat and the boat was not dropped ?

HOw the F does a Marina using a TRAVEL LIFT ON LAND DROP A FING BOAT !

sorry bad flash back....

back on my meds !

Rob

And not just any boat. One that belongs to a "friend" of the yard...hmmmmm

Im learning there are no friends of the yard.... Only acquaintances that get USED!!!!

Took me awhile but im a LEARNING !

: )

Are we talking greg from South Bay?

Ill tell you what. Im ready to call Dean to come detail my two boats this year. Jose at crystal shine has done nothing but jerk me around for over two weeks. I wanted the big boat detailed before it hit water. Nope, couldnt do it. He was supposed to come this morning to detail the searay, nope never showed. When I called him he goes ohh I cannot make it today. I try really hard but I cannot make it. You know what Jose, pick up the damn phone and tell me that you cant make it.

I had to rearrange my morning to meet him at the boat, for him not to show. Not that its a pain, but I went from Long Beach (where I know live), to Valley Stream (where work is), then to Massapequa (where the boat is), all for nothing..

Gregg called me earlier and said he should have it all back up and running in a few days.
Scary story. Good thing he really knows what he's doing with that thing or it could have been real ugly.

John...... I hope he's not " testing " his new crane on your boat..... :)

I hope not.

Not sure what is worse, price of fuel or this stinking weather ?????

Hey Walter,

Take a walk down and check out the the sweetest bottom paint job in the marina (I'm across from about D38). I ahve a couple hours more of prep stuff planned for Saturday, then I'm ready to splash.

I've had a tough week.

Here is the half empty/half full version:

Friday:
Half empty - take the day off to fish with wife. She wakes up ill so decide to go for ride by myself. Stbd motor won't start. Kill the afternoon and never get in the ride.
Half full - turns out to be just a loose wire.

Monday:
Half empty - closing a boat sale and taking the buyer for a test ride. Mechanic is driving. I'm handling lines and due to wind keeping boat off dock. I slip on dock miss the grab rail and fall in water.
Half full - I catch the dock and only go in up to my thighs so phone and wallet remain dry. Only one nasty bruise.

Today:
Half empty - waiting at a light I get rear ended.
Half full - nobody got hurt, looks like it's just my bumper and I was in my Jeep not the Corvette so I'm not in jail for beating the daylights out of someone.

Helf empty - finally get to office. New project starting and systems are down.
Half full - I don't see it yet.

Going to Florida tomorrow. I hope this is out of my system before I get on the plane.
