New to the upper Bay area for boating all year round now and I was wondering if anyone had any insight regarding which company had more tow service in the area?

BoatUS or Sea Tow? I assumed BoatUS but I did not want to make that assumption without checking. I have SeaTow but would like to investigate before I re-up this year.

I think SeaTow operates in mostly the middle and lower Bay. I can't remember ever seeing them in the upper Bay.

OTOH, Towboat/US has 4 homeports above Baltimore (Ches. City, Northeast, Georgetown, and Middle River). I've been an unlimited subscriber for many years and have needed their service 3 times. they were always very prompt and professional. Just my opinion....
 
There is now a SeaTow franchise based on the Bohemia. Its owned by a Skipjack slipholder (Gary O'Rielly). TowBoatUS operates out of the Sassafras River.
 
SeaTow lists 3 franchises in MD. I am not sure how that translates to numbers or locations of boats involved in the franchise. BoatUS seems to show the location of every boat on their map and there are oodles of them.

We still have SeaTow.
