Hi, does anyone have a recommendation for trailer tires? Brands, models, etc?

I feel like I asked this question not too long ago but I can’t find the response now.

I have a 2001 Searay 245 weekender on a LoadRite dual axel torsion trailer with. It currently has radials and I got a blowout after hitting some debris in the road the other day. Any preferences (for or against) any brand or models would be helpful.

Thanks

NEVER Carlisle. Goodyear Marathons are good.

Goodyear Endurance are top notch. RV and my boat trailer has them.

I am also a fan of Kenda Bias Ply Loadstar K550. I have them in the 225/75-15 Load Range E version on a single axle trailer.
I do think that bias tires have stronger sidewalls than radials. I have had 4 sets of these over the years, I changed them from 5/8 years or when cracks show up in the tread area, no failures not even a flat.
Example, most 225/75-15 radials, load range D or E have 2 plys of polyester in the sidewalls.
A load range D Loadstar bias has 4 plys of nylon, and a load range E Load Star has 6 plys of nylon in the sidewall. Tread has 7 plys of nylon.
For road hazards hitting curbs etc I feel the load range E bias tire is superior to most radials, except a full steel radial.
