Transducer

Can someone tell me the location of the transducer on a 2001 3780 and where to put another one for a Garmin unit.

I think every boat can be different, but on my 2007 and 2009 4080 it was a in hull transducer.
Looks like a black puck, says air max on it and its usually in front of starboard motor by the firewall.

I have the same boat, and as Dave mentioned, it's right under the starboard transmission.
Easy access.

So the transducer does not physically go through the hull? I am going to install another transducer that is a through hull where I will drill a hole in my hull. I have installed a few of these and I was looking for the site of least water turbulence. Thanks for the info guys.
