No, I'm not dyslexic, I know the system is called Hold 'n Treat
I am considering getting a Purasan unit to put in my boat, I am on an inland lake that is NOT a NDZ. Regardless of how bacteria free the effluent is from the Purasan I still don't like the idea of it dumping out while we are tied up in a cove or in the slip. I considered the Hold 'n Treat but it's pretty pricey and I don't understand the logic. Why hold the untreated waste then treat it before dumping, why not store the treated waste and dump it when the time is right? Is there something in the law that prohibits this or is storing the treated stuff a bad idea for some other reason?
