Ok, my turn...
While we were boating this weekend, we noticed that the outdrive trim gauge has stopped working. When the drive is completely trimmed down (at rest), the gauge shows full "UP", and when underway on plane, the needle is bouncing all over the place.
I assume it's a bad ground or broken wire somewhere. I haven't taken a look yet, but any pointers would be helpful. I know the sender is mounted on the outside of the drive at the pivot point.
The engine/drive is a 2004 4.3L Mercruiser Alpha.
Thanks.
