Picking up my new boat 3-29-13 from island heights.anyone know how the bay is heading towards point pleasant canal out the manasquan inlet? Heading upstate ny.

A lot of stuff washed into the bay, you should call the local sea tow and coast guard to find out if the channels have been cleared.

Gonna be rather dicey. Several stories of people hitting things in Barnegate Bay already this year. Why not pick your day and head outside via Barnegate Inlet?

Approximately doubles your time outside but should be a faster/safer trip.

What kind/size of boat?
