I am considering the Raritan Elegance as the price point is really good for what looks like a great head. Though I came across this TMS 99909 on ebay and was wondering if it was worth giving a try. what do you think.

The TMC heads are manufactured somewhere overseas (Australia, I think). TMC is known for knocking-off American-designed and manufactured heads, and selling them on the internet, more cheaply than the American companies can sell their equivalent, uncopied, U.S. built models. American companies do all the design and development work, then TMC copies the item, and sells it on the internet at a lower price.
Aside from ethics of it all, my biggest concerns are about warranty coverage should a problem turn up, and how quickly you can get replacement parts, if needed.
Raritan products are made in New Jersey, and their factory is only a phone call away.
