Is there any kits?
Is there any boats being sold that run on LP or Natural gas.

If its going to cost me $10-$15k to change my engines someday I rather go with LP or Natural gas and do my part. I am also looking at Electric, only if I can use my existing Engines.

Don't know of any kits but I would imagine that the engines will run on either with some modifications. As to the practicallity, when is the last time you were at a gas station or marina and saw an LPG fill hose? Also there is the very real issue of explosion to deal with. I know gasoline will explode when vaporized, but LP can be a real problem as well. Also, if you ever run out of fuel while on the water, Towboat likely won't be able to bring you a few gallons of LP. There is also the issue of reduced range due to the lower energy output of LP per gallon vs gasoline.
In short, its possible but not that practiacl yet.
JMHO
BTW, I have a propane fueled forklift so I'm familaiar with the running out of gas at a bad moment issue.

I think you will need a HUGE tank to get any kind of range. I'm sure it will fit in the V-berth if you have one? Maybe just put it in the aft cabin or tow a tank? Gasoline is bad enough, but having PRESSURIZED LP or CNG would be even trickier I think. I doubt there are any existing conversion approved by either insurance companies or the USCG.
