So far so good I have been to two out of three stops and just settling in to my third. The first stop was Atlantis and I must say I was impressed I could not have felt more welcomed. We spent three nights and left in time for a nasty storm, the ocean kicked my butt all the way down to Belmar. It was my first and last visit to Belmar it just didn't do it for me I have said enough about that on the NJ forum I'll let it go. Today we arrived at Norwalk not sure why but it's one of our favorite ports. I feel at home here I like the pool, beach and the Town not to mention the staff is very friendly. They even added a shuttle that will take you anywhere in town. I will go exploring in the dink tomorrow I have it all set up and ready to go.

The only sad thing is, I only have a few more days left of vacation and then it's back to the grind.

Enjoy the reest of the trip and the water as you will read in my latest topic, you won't be in the water up here for awhile. Glad to hear it turned around for you.

Hank You have me at a loss. What am I missing did they dump sewage again?

There's a beach at Norwalk? Maybe we will come out to join you. No swimming around here this weekend.

Ben your kids would love it here I have been trying to tell you this. There is a big pool and a diving pool as well. The weather is iffy for Sunday but I don't really want to come home early I will probably spent the night Saturday anyway, If you come then for sure. If you want to come call me and I will make arrangements for you. There may be a spot right behind me.

Well my vacation is drawing to an end and the weather has left much to be desired. I will make the most of the day and hope things clear up a bit. I will have to decide if I will stay one more night even though I'm not ready to go home.

I had a late night visitor Ben showed up around 11pm, he is a brave man and a skilled navigator. I hope you enjoy the marina as much as we do, glad you came.

Dave, there are thunderstorms predicted for all day Sunday, you might want to think about making the trip back today.

Well, we're here. Norwalk is really nice. No poo water either (except for the goose bomb in the pool). Looks like weather's coming in tonight. Got the boat all buttoned up and the Tangeray flowing. Life is good.

Mike- Met a buddy of yours on the train. He's got a trimaran in Nyack. Nice guy. Speaks highly of you (lol).

After two weeks on the water we will be heading back tomorrow to Jersey City. Hogan, see what you can do about holding off any thunderstorms till after noon please! :)

What a great trip, excellent friends, weather and an overall great time!

Well the rain is coming down pretty hard but the tides will determine when I have to be back I'm thinking I need to be back around 2:30. The problem is it is hard to figure on how fast I can travel in this weather.

I have had a great week as well, like Rommer great friends and weather for the most part always help for an enjoyable time.

BTW has anyone ever seem a pool closed for fly by Goose poop? One drop and the pool was close and cleaned, I was impressed but I hardly think it was necessary. We swim in the Hudson and fish poop in it all the time:) Lately there has been a lot more then that in there.

Dave;

I imagine that the State has some regulation requiring the marina to close the pool and address the feces issue. Most states now require every publicly attended pool to be maintained by a state certified technician, and most states have gone way overboard as to the maintainence required.

Another revenue generating requirement.

It was a bird poop not a big deal one way or the other I just found it funny that they had to jump thru hoops for it.

Well the trip is over and I have return home it was not the nicest weather but wasn't a problem in any way. We made the most of our time and I'm glad we spent the extra night even if I did get soaked docking when I got home.

Ben I'm glad you joined us out there hope you all enjoyed yourselves!
Don't forget I have dibs:)
