I changed the duckbill valves (4) because the pump would run every ten minutes. I test the bowl and lines and found it was the vacuum generator leaking. Now the pump won't stop. Pulled eveything aprt and re-assembled and still have same problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is the pump creating some vacuum? If not make sure you don't put the DB the wrong way!
Try to listen for a vac leak
Don't over tighten the fittings which hold the DB and put some liquid soap on the flanges before assembling otherwise you may distord the DB

I just had that problem this season on my front tank, the vacuum switch had gone bad. At first it kept not shutting off, then after changing all the duckbills (only had done 2 the first time), the vacuum pump would not even turn on. Voltmeter showed no power coming out of the switch going to the pump. Got a new switch and it has been working great since, no more not shutting off. Could be something to look at, you could swap switches if you have two heads and see if the problem moves with it.
I'm not a big VF fan they seem to be a popular head perhaps that is why there are so many threads about fixing them. I had one it worked for me but not my wife. I replaced it with an ME over 4 seasons ago and would never switch back to a VF.
However I finally got tired of my Jabsco run dry transfer/ macerator 3-6 month replacement routine and replaced it with a SeaLand waste pump so far so good, I don't expect any problems with it other than replacing the duckbills at normal intervals.

Bob I bought mine new in 2007 and had the installation certified by a Sealand installer. It would not break up solids from a medical condition my wife has. It would almost constantly clog when she used it doing number 2. I never had a problem myself with normal stools. I removed the unit, cleaned it up and it's packaged up in my marinas warehouse. Too bad I actually liked the VF system. The Raritan Marine Elegance being the tree trunk/ golf ball chomping macerating machine that it is a freshwater head has no problems so we are both happy with it's ability to deal with this special issue.
