I am sure this was asked before, But I have velvet drive V drives in my 1990 cruisers.
What is the proper way to check the fluid level? I warm the engine up and run at 1500 rpm. I have someone shut the engine off and imminently
Check the oil. If I waite a few seconds or check the oil a second time the level is up. Checking imminently seems to fast for an accurate level. Also how much fluid should a 71/ 72 series hold, and how often should this be changed?
