Video - Boat fire off Middle River

Saw that on the evening news. Big "BOOM" and gone.
 
Reminder to check everything out routinely. I'll know where i'm going to be Saturday morning....in the engine compartment.
 
This is why having a working "sniffer", lifting a hatch and using your nose and running your blower for a full 5 minutes is so important.
 
Important yes, but none of those things would have prevented this particular fire. Word from the marina was this boat had just fueled up and would not start, so the owner used starting fluid.
