Volvo ACP

My Larson Cabrio 330 has the ACP system on the 5.7GXi-G engines. I'm not impressed with the performance. Boat operates on the Cheseapeake Bay and is kept on a lift when not in use; only in the water for about 40 days per year. I replace the anodes every two years but still see more corrosion that I expect on the outdrives.

I have it on my new Ocean X Drives, but found out it does not work nor is needed in fresh water.
I do not believe it replaces anodes or anode maintenance though.
 
I have boat needs a lot of zinc. I will stick with the zincs and skip the acp. Sounds like most people feel it doesn't work.
