Volvo 1996 5.7 Gi with Throttle body injection. TBI
Twin engine. 280 total hours. Problem is only Port engine.
Engine starts and runs great. After starting engine idles at 750 rpm, if rpm
is raised above 12-1300 rpm - and brought back to idle - it will idle at 1100 rpm.
Only way to lower idle rpm is to shut down for 60 seconds and restart, idles
agin at 750.
Would the Idle air valve - IAC be the problem ?
