I was asking the guy who installed my chartplotter about its accuracy, and he told me that:

The geostationary satellite which broadcasts the corrections has been moved further westward temporarily until launch of the new WAAS satellite. This may cause weak or lost WAAS signal on the eastern seaboard until the satellite is moved back to its original location.

First I've heard of this. Has anyone heard about this? Any idea how likely it is that you be able to get a WAAS signal and where that would be, or when this will be fixed?
