Hi there, I saw a recent ad for a SR 360 (I think it was a 360) which was a 2005 year and one of the "plus" things being promoted was it had a new paint job on its hull.

Why would such a new-ish boat require a paint job? My initial reaction is something happened to the boat and now the paint job covers/hides whatever happened.

Thoughts / comments?

Bottom paint? No one would Imron a boat that new.

Unless they wanted a color that wasn't offered in gelcoat

Double D,

I didn't realize you were a DD too... :) Dah, I guess that would explain the Double D name.. which could be taken other ways too.

I assume you might also have some fur kids to back the name up?? :) do you have pics?? (Dogs and/or Boat pics will do... :)

DogDaze......
Double D was the name of our previous boat....came from our 2 initials ( Don & Deb ). Our now boats name is Dog Daze....since we got our chocolate lab just prior to the purchase.

Hey Don, Rob,

Thanks for the pic.. and a nice looking boat Don.. I like the name and art work on the back. :)

Here's what they did for our Dog Daze..

First boat we've ever put a name on.. and it took us 3+ years to get around to the name at that..
I like the looks of your 370DA.. very nice.

Hey Ram,

I can offer you a class on this over the weekend at the dock party.. before you leave the dock for winter storage on your 3 hour tour... :) I think this post is going to the DOGS...

Ram, you owe me a pic anyway. Send it to me and I'll post it for you. (preferrably one with Silky an a SeaRay) :)

Silky's never been on a Sea Ray...no one will let him on because of the hair :-(. Didn't Steve get a good shot of The Dog House that day?
