I've got a slow leak in one of my snowblower tires, and I know it's due to corrosion on the rim where it meets the tire bead. I've cleaned it up a few times, but it keeps coming back. I was wondering if introducing expandable foam through the valve stem (with the valve removed) would work. There's so much ingenuity on this site, I was wondering if anyone had tried this with a small boat trailer tire with any success? Or does anyone have another suggestion? I know I could just buy a new rim, but that takes all the fun out of it.
