Ok, so I have a 20' Chaparral with a 5.0 GXi Volvo Penta with Fresh Water Cooling. Wanted to inquire about proper way of Fogging the engine with the whole winterization process.
I wanted to wait on the winterization, so I ended up draining the water out of the engine back in November because it got cold.
What's the proper way of "Fogging" the engine on a EFI or Fuel Injected volvo?
I've heard of pouring fogging oil into the New replacement Fuel Filter/Fuel Water Separator and running the engine or spraying them in somewhere. Can anyone clarify?
So far, here's what I have int he rest of the process:
1. Start engine with ear muffs and hose until thermostat opens and water comes back out of exhaust.
2. Change oil & filter.
3. Hook up tank with anti-freeze to ear muffs to run anti-freeze through the system.
So I have no clue about the fogging part?
