O.K. this is the deal.
Leaving from Tobay Boat basin and going out Fire island inlet, back into Shinnecock and up to Greenport. Then on to American wharf in Ct. for few days then Bannisters Wharf in Newport ,Rhode Island, for a few days.
Now for opinions....
When coming home..
I am contemplating leaving Newport and running west of Block, around Montauk and straight to the F.I inlet in 1 trip and Maybe on 1 tank of gas.
142 miles
300 gallons
avg cruise 20 kts
34 gallons per hour, last time I ran the numbers .
But that includes a little slow time due to 1 or 2, 5 mph zones.
If 20 kts is like 22 miles per hour..
142 miles /22 = 6.45 hours
at 34 gallons per = 219 gallons
