We ran a 318 chrylser (one of twins) for the second time this spring but the first time at cruising speed. The engine overheated. When we checked the oil, it looks like we have water in the engine. Question: it will be 2 weeks before we can have someone look at it. In the meantime, is there anything that you would suggest doing to be proactive about keeping the damage to the engine at a minimum? I'm thinking like fogging oil in the cylinders? Draining the oil? Turning the enginer over by hand? Or is it all a waste of time and we're just out of luck?
