Since I have sold my larger boats all we have is a Baby Whaler 13' Super Sport. I like to fish at night and the little boat has very limited wiring and no terminal block. Rather than trying to figure ways to route new wiring I'm going to try some waterproof LED stick-on courtesy lights. I just bought a pair and while they have a bunch of different color figurations I don't need they seem like they will work. I like the fact you can dim them, but I think using the small remote might take time to get used to. I had a small waterproof clear pouch I've put the remote in. anyway my real question is have any of yall tried these lights?

While getting marine grade stick on lights should work, it would be inexpensive to get harbor freight battery operated closet lights, stuffed into zip lock style bags.

THe "on/off" type is about $3 and the dimable ( and brighter ) one is around $5 or $6

True, looks like Mississippi engineering, but it will likely work, is cheap, and if stolen, you might have a good laugh.

Just an idea.

I put some of those in a shed and found them somewhat unreliable, with some still workinafter a few years and others that failed in a few months. Anyway, I found a pair of "marine" leds fot $14 for the pair. We shall see how they like the salt air and sometimes water...

I have several around the house for when the power goes out. They all work fine, but I must confess, I tinker w/ electronics and usually "re-manufacture" them re-soldering connections and wiping Vaseline on the battery contacts... ( etc )

Not everyone want s to do this. I hope the Lexus lights work well for you! :)

Don't get these, don't stay working for more than a season! Though they were nice enough to send me replacements, they failed very soon after install. Twice! I'm talking underwater lights!
