On a 10SI marine alternator, how do you hold the brushes out of the way when reassembling the alternator?
The brush holder has a hole for this purpose - and on the automotive version, this hole runs thru the outside case. So a piece of wire inserted here from the outside makes reassembly a simple matter - just pull the wire when done.
The marine 10SI case does NOT have this hole, so how do I manage this????
