Isabelle and i have been looking for a boat we can really get laid back on since last season. Where hoping to sea-trial her soon so we can take her to the river. Hopefully all will go well.
Check her out on the link below. New engines and drives, Two new vac-u-flush heads with new holding tank system and a new refrigerator. The Jenny is geting a compete service and new muffler put on her today. Where very exited about bringing her home from Norwalk, ct.

looks nice, good luck. Add some latches on that backwards facing refer

Nice boat Al. Hope everything works out for you. Good thing it has two cabins...you'll need one just to store the canvas.

No, Bruce. Haven't you heard about the shortage of good surveyors in that part of the country ?

That must be serious with spring boat buying season in full bloom. Do you think we should offer to send some of our surveyors up there on an emergency basis?

Seriously Al, good luck. Deb and I hope this works for you two. Having seen how your current boat looks I know if you get this one it will be well cared for. I've always felt that Silverton and Mainship offered alot for the money.
But if you have trouble locating a surveyor let me know. I'll be glad to trial it for you :D

Nice boat, Al. We have seen one or two of those up here at Coeymans over the years. Hope it works out for you!

Nice boat Al, I'm sure you'll have it all ship shape in no time.

Good luck with the closing.

Nice boat Al, all the best with it. Listen, I am trying the cleaning with toothpaste on my vinyl windows today, I'll let you know how it works out. 'Cause you got a whole lotta eisenglass to keep clean! Nice find [8D]

Geo I hear the whitening kind make it look like it's sunny when the clouds are out.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.. Ill keep you posted on the results of the sea-trial and sample results. I know she has a lot of canvas. Ill most likely be taking a good bit of it down. Docking in the wind should be alot of fun the 1st time out. Hopefully shell handle alot like a 3607 Carver. Both have just about the same hull design, with a keel that separates the thrust from both props. It should have decent control when docking. Just in case i have one of the biggest slips at Viking Boat Yard just waiting on me. I can either go bow or stern in which ever works best for me. Im sure it will take a little time to get the feel of a larger boat like this.

Al
As long as you remember these are not diesels with gobs of torque/thrust at idle, and are willing to give it a shot of juice once in a while, it s/b no problem. I'd play around on the river pretending to dock before going inside with it.

Thanks for the advice Dan. I planned on doing a good bit of practice before docking.

Talked to the broker this morning. Sea-Trial is set for tomorrow at noon. I sure hope all goes well. The broker told me that he and the seller would be working on getting the boat ready today for my inspection tomorrow. I think there trying all they can do to make it a good sea-trial. Ill keep you guys posted on the outcome after the oil samples come back to me.

Honora, If it doesnt work out, are you going to sell my old boat back to me? Thanks Again! I know its going to a good home.

Al buying your old boat a "no brainer". I don't think I've ever seen a better cared for boat. It was absolutely spotless when we saw it at the raft up.

I've had a "Sound Of Music" tune going in my brain since Sunday..."I must have done something good".
