1988 Silverton 37 bilge blower quesion

One of the 6 amp blowers is failing. On the blower it says to be careful and use only 6 amp fuse. Should I replace blower with 4" 6 amp blower or 4 amp blower. The wires look heavy duty enough to handle 20 amp.

I do believe the 6 amp fuse rating is the maximum amperage draw. A Rule 4 amp draw should be more than sufficient for your needs.

I would put back what was is there originally.

I would think the 4 amp blower moves less air, which isn't a good thing.
