The 2-stroke outboard on my Mako is popping at idle and sometimes stalling. By popping I mean it sounds like a burst of air and is accompanied by a burst of white smoke. It's irregular and sometimes causes the motor to stall. It does restart fine. In general, at idle it runs like crap, but once the throttle is raised up, things smooth out and appears to run fine. Any thoughts?
