Just purchased a 1996 Carver 380, does anyone know? First, how to remove the TV from the cabinet that it is in? Secondly, how do you remove the microwave from its cabinet?
Carver typically screws the microwave in from underneath it. It may have a board attached in front of the legs to hold it instead...just a couple of thoughts. On the TV...they typically mount the TV to a board and then screw the board into the cabinet.
Ken, I just removed our old microwave and replaced it. Kenny is correct the microwave is screwed to the cabinet from the bottom. You will have to remove the frig to take the screws out. I was not going to reused the microwave so I used a long screwdriver and hammer and busted the screws from the microwave feet.
