This boat appears to be a little bow heavy with anything less than 3/4 full of fuel. Nothing out of the ordinary is stored in the bow other than 150 feet of anchor chain (~100 lbs). Does any other Carver owners have this problem or is it just my boat?

Are you sure that 150' of chain is only 100 lbs?

My 1999 326 sits pretty level. The shower water does run to the front of the head which is away from the drain. The only weight in the front of my boat is the generator. Tell us how much that you feel the boat is pitched toward the bow.

As a guess, I would say it sits about 3 inches deeper in the bow than it should with the tanks about 1/2 full. It looks level but when I compare it to a similar boat (1998 326), you can tell the difference. My shower water also runs to the front of the stall (away from the drain) which had me thinking something was wrong. Boat still performs well for the most part.

I e-mailed Carver but did not get a response.

I have a 1995 325, which is essentially the same boat but with cosmetic differences. If anything, my boat is a bit stern heavy, at least with a full load of fuel.

My '32 has separate forward and rear bilge compartments. If yours is set up the same, how much water is in the forward compartment?

is anything not installed aft such as a hard top

Mr. Carver Owner,

There is nothing "wrong" with your boat. The problem, as you call it, is that two slips away is a superior Sea Ray. Your boat is simply, and properly I might add, bowing it's head out of respect to it's more worthy yacht neighbor. I suggest you fill your aft cabin with booze to counteract this submissive behavior immediately, and or pumping out your 400 gallon bow holding tank might help as well.

Dr. Phil for Boats

By the way, the next time I have "signage" and a collection cup taped onto my boat, I will post video of your docking abilities here for all to review!
