Hi all,
I just purchased (September) a 2000 SeaRay 260 SunDancer which is powered by a 7.4L Mercruiser with a Bravo III drive. This boat came from Colorado and I've heard different things on if the engines/props are configured differently on boats that operate in the thinner air. Living/boating in NJ at sea level I'm trying to find out what the correct configuration is so I don't over rev the engine and I get the optimal fuel economy, cruise speed, acceleration, engine life, etc...

SeaRay's site mentions that this boat/engine combo ships with these props: 708198 and 708206, however I can't find any information on them other than they're 24 pitch. My boat has 48-823666-24P and 48-823665-24P props which are also 24 pitch.

The engine at WOT will run close to 4800-4900 RPM, which I believe is too high. Does anyone know the correct configuration?

Any help is appreciated.
