Hi First post here. Today I took my son out to put the boat in its slip and cruise around...this is the first outing this year and after about 5-10 min I noticed the temp guage rising and it finally pegged. We limped it back and my first thought was the impeller as it has never been changed. Assuming you all agree this is the first thing to replace ( I checked the hoses, its getting very little to zero water flow) Can it be done with the boat in the water? Are there any tricks or pretty straight forward? Its Merc 350 MPI w/ the raw water pump mounted on the lower left if you are looking at the engine from the front / belt side.
