Im a newbie boater:
Took our Larson 254 out for the day and our trim guage is kind of spotty sometimes shows sometimes not... sounds like the sender unit...
However thats not the major problem:
We were crusing on and off today for a good 2-3 hours. Everything was great... about 2:30 minutes into our run the trim just stopped working. We shut the boat down... idled looked out back and hit it and nothing. No noise no pump moving nothing. Just stuck in the down position.
What checks can I do...
Could it just be a fuse? More Major like a motor? Can anyone tell me how and where to check the fuse... its a 2001 volvo 5.7 carbed engine. dp outdrive.
Any help on what to check in newbie terms would be huge!
