I purchased this boat approx. 4 weeks ago. While flipping through the manual, it states all boats use the monitoring system. I realize there are two different models based on whether or not you have the macerator installed. My question is have any of you heard of one of these boats NOT being equipped with a monitor? I have searched every nook and cranny thoughout the cabin as well as the engine compartment. My dealer told me over the phone it will be in the cabin, but if it is, it is well hidden. It doesn't look like there's any sending unit in the waste tank (no wires), and of course there's no access to the fresh water tank. Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks.

I would think it would be in the head on a bulkhead. I cant imagine it not being there. It may just be a series of lights to show a level. Take a look at every panel on your boat and identify them all then call the dealer back.

Thanks for your reply. I got a response from Regal today, and apparently the monitor was an option until '05.

I have a 2003 2465. It's been a while since I've dealt with the tank monitoring system so I'm recalling a lot from memory.

When I first purchased the boat from the dealer, I believe the on-line marketing information and owner manuals stated that there was a holding tank and fresh water monitoring system. I think there is even a fuse for the monitoring system on the cabin panel.

After looking for a while upon initially receiving the boat and not finding anything, I called my dealer and was able to confirm that the guages don't exist. I was told by the dealer that an after-market install is difficult and costly. Hence, I'm manually monitoring the holding tank and estimating the fresh water supply to this day.

I had a 2001 version of your boat. My monitors were fail safe. I stuck my hesd in the ER and look at the level in the waste tank. When the water ceased coming from the faucet, my water tank was empty. Worked every time.

David, I'm going to copy your "fail safe" monitoring system. Very cost effective that way. I just plumbed in the overboard discharge this week, but haven't made the electrical connection yet. I want to gear up the secondary switch for the macerator, just to keep things on the safe (and legal) side.
Thanks for all your responses everybody.

I have a 2004 2465 that I bought new .It didnt come with a monitoring system ,It was'nt an option. From what I gathered from other forums ,they were problems and almost always did'nt work . I use the "KIDA SYSTEM" works every time
