2009 season countdown!

Minus 31 here...I start'em back up on March 1....or there abouts...

Don't usually do much boating in March...but just starting up the motors always feels good....

BTW...I like the clock...
 
Our season starts as soon as I recover from back surgery.

Cant wait. Radar is being checked out as we speak. New VHF on order. Wife tells me to put Christmas lights away before any more thoughts of boating. See everyone in April

I just got back from dinner at a NJ Waterfront Restaurant.....had to go by car! Winter SUCKS!!!!
 
We actually drove down to the shore to look at houses on the water. Wound up at Tuckers in Beach Haven for dinner. Usually go there by boat!

How come there is no snow on the ground in South jersey????
 
We do however allow snow to accumulate on out of state wintered boats....
 
Gotta have some place to put it right Dominic. Also, that's another reason that we require proper blocking for our own boats! ;)
 
Does the Belmar marina have WiFi? If not and you have a good WiFi setup on your boat, I will be putting in WiFi service by the Route 35 Bridge at Total Marine. I expect to point one of the sectors in that direction. Great count down clock.
We will be in sometime between late March/ early April.

Bill....is the WiFi you're installing at Total Marine going to be left unsecured?
 
We were at Belmar Municipal Marina towards the end of last season and for the life of me I can't recall if they had open WIFI or not. I always travel with an aircard based router system so checking for WIFI hotspots isn't a top priority.
 
It will be open for a few months possibly forever. I can block abusers.
 
That's good to know. I go out on the dive boats just accross the harbor from Total Marine. Knowing that I can grab a hot spot on my palm to check weather and tides can come in handy....not need to bring my laptop and air card.
