268 or 270

iam down to a late 80's 268 or 270
and also up to a 1992 270 wide beam
i like the 10 'on the older 270 and the 1992 270
at about 9.2 'wide
what are some things to look for in a 268
i found two ,but will need to add a/c and swim
platform aftermkt, unless i get a 268 for under 20 with a trailer i think a 1992 270 w/ trailer
would be better, i just like the older models
better, thanks in advance bill

I had a 1989 268 until a couple years ago. I went to a 300 because of the added beam. If you do end up with a 268, get the 7.4L/Bravo. The 5.7L/Alpha is not enough motor for that boat.
