Going to be 29 tonight in Panama City Florida for a couple hours. Would you guys worry? The water temp is 64. Boat is in the water.
 
Here we are "scheduled" to reach 27. It will remain below freezing for ( a predicted ) 14 hours. If I had a boat in the water, I would not worry.

In my case, the worry is the plumbing for the washing machine! :)
 
No worries if it's in the water. If our temp gets much below the 32 or so we're expecting along the St Johns and ICW, I set the boat back into the water from the boat lift. That works with the water temp down in the 50's.

I went and turned on heat just in case.
 
I was just outside. Thermometer on the fence, away from heat sources, showed 28. Inside our RV, 35 and its exterior temp showed 31. No thermo's down by the boat, but the dock hose was not frozen. I'd say we were OK...
 
A hard freeze takes more than one night.
 
10 in Pittsburgh now. Good temperature for the Miami Pittsburgh playoff game. It's even sunny.
