On my Carver 370 the previous owner removed the 30 amp breakers that were on the outside of the boat under the Marinco cover. He just hard wired and disposed of the breakers. I would like to replace but have been unable to find part numbers or if this parts is still available.

any help on this would be appreciated.

I love my new ride it is great. Trips are going to be so much more comfortable.

If you call Carver Yachts and ask for Rich Brown he can probab ly tell you who the original vendor was for those breakers.

Like the post above, I am really curious as to why the PO would remove the breakers to begin with. Doesn't seem prudent.

I have no Idea why he removed them. We missed it on the survey. I never thought someone would remove the breakers. I will give Carver a call and I might check the manual when I go to the boat this weekend.

My 1990 does not have any breakers on the outside. Only the regular two shore power connects.

you need the breakers if the inlet is more than 6 to 8' from the main electrical panel (ABYC standard). they are available from Marinco or Hubel. easy to reinstall, they fit right in the standard cover.

my breakers are installed in what looks to be a standard square power inlet box normally used for the power cord. the breakers look like standard two pole breakers as would be found on your panel. I looked at the marinco site but didnt see any special breaker suggested for than application but I dont see how a standard breaker is mounted to a standard inlet box. I suggest contacting marinco for the correct part numbers.

Pascal, I agree this is one of my first fixes on my new ride. I have not found Marinco but let me check Hubel

In my wiring diagram in the Carver owners manual it does not show any kind on breaker at the shore power inlets. Best of my knowledge my boat never had them.

My boat has them, my two bottom inlets are the shore power and the upper two are (Phone and Cable) and the other being the breakers. They are in a Marinco box with lid just like the other 3. I actually forgot they were there until now, I have never had to do anything with them in the 16 years I have owned the boat.
