31ft searay

I'm thinking about looking at 31ft searays with inboard engines 2000 to 2003 for next season anyone have any infomation on this boat, what engines are best for it any problems with the boat etc. thanks for any input. Tom

If am a little late on this post, but as far as the ingestion question, Searay changed the exhaust configuration half way through 2001.

JeffR-You are right, the 300 is similar except for the beam, but it has updated lines to be more "stylish". It also does not come with the option of v-drives.

Beam in a boat is more important than length when it comes to space for hanging in cockpit amd below. Go for the 310. If this is your first boat, the 310 will be too small very quickly and you will be looking at 37 to 40 ft boats.
