Does anyone have a source for the fittings that are used on Carver boats? I have a 1995 Carver 325 Aft Cabin and want to do some changing and cannot seem to locate the same type of fitting the factory uses. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I believe these a pex fittings.. Some hardware stores carry.. Any marine supply should. I am slowly turning mine into reinforced vinyl with regular old hose clamps
From the info that they might be PEX fittings I was able to discover they are called Flair It fittings used in RVs and Mobile homes. Thanks for the info, helped A LOT!
I also have a 1995 Carver 325, and yes they are Flair fittings, but can be replaced by PEX as they use the same tubing. Check Lowe's for a good source of PEX fittings.
I ended up busting one of the elbows off, and did an emergency replacement with a PEX fitting from my local Lowes.
I busted it on a Sunday, and my first thought was OMG, where am I going to get one of these. But luckily I ran into a very informed guy at Lowes that was able to get me going.
