If some of you have read, we had an oil line burst on us yesterday. On our Sea Ray, we have to turn the key and then flip the ignition breaker onoff inside the cabin at the breaker box.
Yesterday, when this happened, it took us probably 4-5 seconds to get into the cabin and shut down the engine. 4-5 seconds could be enough time to blow the engine IMHO.
Anyone know why this was designed this way? Has anyone installedadded an emergency engine shut off switch at the dash panel?
