Does anyone know if a '99 350 Mariner has fuel tank selector switches like my '99 356 has? I realize it only has two fuel tanks rather than 3, but does each engine just suck off of the tank on its side until empty? Or can you switch say, the starboard engine to suck off off the port fuel tank? I know that the genset only uses one tank (port on my boat, not sure on the Mariner).

I have the 2000 Mariner and it has a selector switch for the genset only located just above the genset control box it used to turn off fuel flow from the tanks and to switch from port to starboard. The mains only pull from their tanks on its side.

I have a '93 33 Mariner with two tanks and have fuel selector switches for each engine and the genny.
They're located under the most rearward dinette cushion in the salon. If I'm not mistaken this was standard equipment on the boat. Probably in a different spot on your 35.
Have you tried tracing back the fuel lines?

Hope that helps.

I actually don't have the 350, I have the 356 Aft Cabin. I'm asking for someone else that has the 350. We were discussing the fuel selector switches on my boat (which are forward in the engine room) and he wasn't sure if his boat had them too. I don't think he can switch the tank his genny uses, but I'm not sure about his engines. We'll take a look this weekend though. Carver350-I wish I had that switch for the genset. I can only switch the engines. It would be nice to be able to switch the genset too just to keep the fuel tanks even.

I switch mine every other time I run the gen-set or if on a long cruise I shut the genny down and switch every other hour or so.

I've got a '99 350 Mariner - same set-up.
