Searched this forum but saw no other posts on this problem. I have a 2001 w/7.4 MPI. I know mercruiser has replaced the original fuel pump and cool fuel rail with a redesigned one, but cant find out if this due to a design flaw. To fix both engines the kits total cost is rb2@gr5t1500.00. Just wondered if any one else has had this problem and if so why hasnt this been recalled?
