We are working on my buddies 1983 Correct Craft Ski Nautique 2001. She has 351 windsor with a holley 4 barrel carb. On her first voyage, there was almost no holeshot and she slowely climbed up to 30 mph. Then after approx. 10 minutes she bogged down and we were able to limp back to the slip going about 8 mph.
The boat has not been on the water for a year, however it was winterized and de-winterized for the season. When out of the water, the secondaries will not open when given full throttle. Are they supposed to open even when not under load? The boat also has electronic ignition. Just looking for a jump off point and some advice. Thanx
