I have a 1988 Tiara 3100 Open with twin Crusader 350 engines. I had her out last weekend and she topped out at 3800 rpms.
I spoke with my mechanic and he said this is a result of:
1) Old gas
2) Have not had her out for 6 months
3) Scum on the bottom.
He said that I should run her more often and run her harder to burn out carbon and clean the bottom.
Does this make sense to the experts on this board?
Thanks,
Ken
