I asked before but my post is gone (too old).
I have a 1999 Volvo 5.7GS - I took the advice here and went and bought an oil filter but it was the "short version" designed for tight spaces. The larger oil filter was on it, and I have no problems with tight spaces, as far as the oil filter is concerned.
Again, what is the normal size oil filter for a 5.7L marine engine? If you can give me a part # from your oil filter, I can cross reference it. Thanks in advance.
