I have a 1990 270DA Sea ray I notice it leans to Starboard when tied up in the marina. The boat handle fine but I was wondering why it leans a little sitting. I havent added any equipment to that side of the boat or anything. Also there is no water in the bilge its pretty good I hardly ever have any water when i put on the bilge pump. Thoughts?

Its a Sea Ray thing. I have a 1995 370DA....when I fill my fuel tanks....I always put about 35/45 gallons more in my starboard tank....so it sits level.

Kemper,

My last boat was a '91 270 DA with a 7.4l BravoII outdrive. It sat level until I had a genset installed to the factory specs. MarineMax's solution was to A) add a second house battery (1 starting, 2 house, 1 gen, total of four) and to epoxy in a 40lb weight as ballast in the far rear starboard. It worked well and I still have the factory layouts if you need them. I am pretty sure the '90 and '91 models are laid out the same.

My 1989 220DA also does. I thought it might be the 2 group 29 batteries. I also store some things in the aft cabin on that side. My fuel is in the center, but my water is to port.

Definately a Sea Ray thing. Funny thing is if you talk to the factory about it they make like it doesn't exist. Solution get a real mechanic and solve the problem. For me moving 2 of 3 batteries from Star to Port side solved the problem. Of course it costs you a chunk for the new long 0 gauge cable runs but it definately solved the list.
