Swing wide! You'll get used to it and soon it won't be any different than towing a smaller boat, except that you can't see around it as well. We tow our 30 footer all over the place. It has an 11 foot beam. You'll start to notice how close signs and telephone pole are to the road, you'll swerve to miss signs in the median and you'll get used to watching people swerve off the road like your towing Noah's Ark! They do that all the time and I'm not even OVER the center line! It cracks me up!
It's just as easy to launch as any other boat and retrieval is actually easier than it is with our 250 DA. On the 250 DA I would winch it about 6 feet. ON the 300 DA, I winch 2 - 4 feet because I pay a lot more attention to it when it floats off the trailer. I mark the waterline at the ramp and back down so I'm at the same spot. Many times I've loaded the boat AND the kayak on the trailer faster than smaller boats next to me on the launch ramp. They give you this look like, HUH?? It's kind of fun actually!
