'93 Mariner 330--Replacing window "glass"

Hello all,

I need to replace the most forward piece of the side window, a fixed Plexiglass piece, starboard side in the master cabin. It's the fixed piece, not a slider.

Has anyone done this and how difficult is it to repair/replace? Is it something I can tackle myself or should I defer to a professional?
Does the whole window frame need to come out?

Thanks pdecat. I didn't think about posting pix. I'll take some over the weekend and post them up.
I "assumed" (and we all know what that means!) that everyone new what a Mariner looked like ;-)
