I am looking at a 93 SeaRay 290. The boat has a 330HP big block, two year old Bravo III with stainless duo props and a 5KW Generator. I am curious as to what kind of performance and GPH burn rate I can expect out of this set up. Also, what kind of cruise speed should it have without getting into the 4 barrel? I usually have a full tank of fuel and six average size adults on board when I start out for the day. Does anyone have a set up like this that can offer input as to performance and gas consumption? My reason for considering this boat is that my slip is 10ft 3 inches wide. The boat will stay in brackish water. Does anyone know of any other 28 to 30 ft cruisers they can recommend with no more than a 10 ft beam?
